CARTER®FUEL PUMP HANGER ASSEMBLY

Components of hanger assemblies: Metal hanger, high pressure fuel lines, float, fuel level sender (on assemblies with ?S? suffix), fuel pump- electric and a strainer The strainer is attached to the bottom of the fuel pump and is situated at the bottom of the fuel tank The hanger itself is mounted at the top of the fuel tank or on the side of the fuel tank (dependent upon OE design) The fuel tank (unlike the module design) incorporates a reservoir directly below the in-tank pump assembly. The reservoir is shaped like a ?bath tub? to ensure a constant supply of fuel for the in-tank pump, even at low fuel levels and severe maneuvering conditions.
